Addy's Corner /// Nü-Metal Tribute Set
Nu metal (also known as nü-metal and aggro-metal) is a form of alternative metal that combines elements of heavy metal music with elements of other music genres such as hip hop, alternative rock, funk and grunge.

Addy's Corner covers:
Korn, Disturbed, System Of A Down, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Papa Roach...

Addy's Corner BIO:
Addy's Corner want to change what you think a cover band can be.

“We grew up going to see the bands we cover, and those shows were loud and heavy and the crowd is moving and singing along,” says vocalist Brian Rowe. “You're part of a community, so you drop your inhibitions and become a part of the night, both in the audience and on the stage. I don't get the same feeling from cover bands. So with our band, we wanted to bring the experience of seeing all your favorite bands in the same night, and give the audience the same feeling of community and enthusiasm, to have a unique experience among cover bands.”

Based out of Chicago, Addy's Corner plays your favorite songs from your high school years. Focusing on alternative and pop punk from the 90's and 2000's, their shows promote maximum crowd participation and monumental sing-alongs for the entire night. There are no outfits, no gimmicks- just raw energy.

The band derives their setlist from days spent listening to Chicago’s Q101, hearing artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters played in heavy rotation, but also lesser known hits of the early 2000’s by Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, and Panic! At The Disco. The band also puts their own spin on some well known hits, such as their fist-pumping cover of Smash Mouth’s All Star.

Founded in 2015, the band has played all over Chicago, including headlining slots at House of Blues, The Original Mothers, and rounding out 2016 at Cubby Bear. They have also played Durty Nellies in Palatine, Blarney Island in Antioch, Adobe Gilas in Rosemont and Chicago, and Uptown Lounge in Chicago. The band can entertain crowds for a full night and also put on special event shows for any audience.

Addy’s Corner is looking ahead to 2017, where they plan to continue playing Chicago venues and branch out to bring their specific brand of rock covers to new audiences.
Pinch /// Reunion Show
Pinch /// Reunion Show
Chicago band pinch has been leaving audiences completely addicted to their high energy music and captivating performance. Over the years, pinch has become a Chicago staple and a crowd favorite. In addition to their home town, the band has been gaining national exposure through constant touring and self-promotion. Without tying themselves to any particular genre, pinch appeals to a very diverse demographic. While pinch's alluring melodic rock is steeped in pop hooks, lyrically the band taps into a deeper vein - exploring themes of relationships and inner conflict. When you listen to their music, it's clear that there is something darker swirling at the band's center.

In 2001, pinch independently released their debut album "Running On Fumes." The single "no win" was featured on Chicago's commercial rock radio station, Q101. Fueled by the disc's success, the band landed a coveted slot on the Ernie Ball Stage of the Vans Warped Tour. Later that year, pinch was a finalist in the national "Jam With Pam" North American Music search, sponsored by Pamela Anderson and Additionally, pinch was invited to showcase their music at the prestigious MOBfest music conference in Chicago, and also CMJ music conference in New York.

In September 2002, pinch released their highly anticipated sophomore disc "Up & Down," unleashing their music nationally. The success of the album caught the attention of Hugo Ferreira, lead singer of the band Tantric. Ferreira invited pinch down to Louisville, KY to produce their much awaited follow up demo. In early 2003, they collaborated, wrote, and recorded 3 songs for the new demo. After returning home to Chicago, pinch began a working relationship with Doug McBride of Gravity Studios and completed their 6-song demo titled "Damaged Goods." It was released in late 2004 and the positive reviews have been creating quite a buzz.

Those fortunate enough to catch pinch live will witness a band with its priorities in order. pinch's focus: songs, energy, performance and dynamics. With that combination, and pinch's surplus of talent, it's just a matter of time before the rest of the world, like thousands of pinch fans, is hooked.
20 Mark Helga /// Pink Floyd Tribute Set
20 Mark Helga /// Pink Floyd Tribute Set
20 Mark Helga was formed by Phineas Gage in 2007. She turned her first trick in April 08 to lively crowds in the Chicago area. Helga has enjoyed playing the party and club scene around the city. Helga can be found strutting the classic venues in Chicago including Double Door, Cubby Bear, Underground, Elbo Room and a variety of special events and Chicago Street Festivals.

Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun times and co-host of Sound Opinions wrote in his review “To hear bandleader Phineas Gage tell it, the Chicago quintet, 20 Mark Helga takes its name from "the German prostitute my mom thought my father hired in Berlin back in the day" (the Deutsche Mark predating the Euro as German currency, of course). And this kind of historically minded, gently ribald barroom humor permeates the band's earthy/underground take on classic rock, bringing to mind what may be Chicago's version of Minneapolis-to-Brooklyn transplants the Hold Steady.

In 2010, 20 Mark Helga released her debut 6 song EP Something to Hold to strong reviews. Phin decided it was time to take Helga a bit further than she had ever gone; yet in the words of the legendary Meatloaf, “I’d do anything for love, but I wont do that.” Phin adjusted the line-up to include Keys and Violin.

20 Mark Helga is: Phineas Gage: Guitar and Vocals, John Tashjian: Keys, Vocals, and sometimes Drums, Krzysztof Wojciechowski aka Wojo: Bass, Andrew McKone: Violin and Acoustic Guitar, Paul Somers: Drums, Vocals and occasional Guitar

20 Mark Helga clearly enjoy themselves on stage creating an easy and playful vibe. “We love creating and performing music and we are very grateful to our fans who have provide this wonderful opportunity for us.”

Influences: Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Neil Young
Sound like: Widespread Panic, Wilco, and The Hold Steady
It is: American Alternative/Radio Rock with Progressive, Jam and classic rock influences

Other Reviews:
All things Musical and Russ-ical by Russ Van Rooy: 20 Mark Helga is an up an coming Chicago band I've been listening to. They have a classic rock sound that harkens back to 60s / 70s era bands. Their lead guitarist Phineas Gage can burn it up and his guitar sound recalls Buffalo Springfield era Neil Young. This ain't soft rock though, not by a long sho...t. You might also catch a glimmer of punk/garage influences while managing a great mix of electric and acoustic guitars. Maybe it is easier to say what this band doesn't sound like: not Deathcab, not Radiohead, not Snow Patrol, not Bloc Party, none of that shit. (and I love Deathcab and Radiohead) - but definitely a straight ahead rock and roll with a bit of a folk-rock/garage thing going on. Well worth the listen, my friends!

Itunes Review of EP Something to Hold: Great Live Rock Sound! This is not a Steely Dan-like-over produced-studio album. That is a good thing. Close your eyes and 20 Mark Helga makes you think you are, or yearn to be, in a bar. You can feel the speakers thumping in your chest, the cold beer in your hand, the press of bodies dancing, and your feet sticking to the floor. I learned of this band on their facebook page where videos of exactly that scene show their energy and impact on listeners. There is an edge to some of these songs and you can’t help but be pulled in.
